Cheesy Meatball Heaven: A Deliciously Comforting Bake


  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese


  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well with your hands.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs and place them in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. Pour the marinara sauce over the meatballs, making sure they are evenly coated.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then top with the remaining 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese.
  6. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the meatballs are cooked through.
  8. Let the meatball bake cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
